III Pamplona Nephrology Update 2022

Eduardo Gutiérrez, MD, is a Nephrologist and Works as Staff of Nephrology and member of Renal Transplant Unit from Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre, Madrid; Spain. He is Contributor Proffesor of Medicine, Universidad Complutense, Madrid. He was the fellowship responsable at the Hospital 12 de Octubre from 2009 to 2013. He was awarded with the Instituto Carlos III grant from 2010 to 2016 (Fondo de Investigaciones Sanitarias, Health Ministry of Spain). He has been the main investigator or co-investigator in numerous clinical trials. Author several indexed publications, he is involved in several research projects and RCTs. His current h-index ISI-WOK is 13. His research interests include the pathogenesis and treatment of glomerular diseases, especially the pathophysiological bases of IgA nephropathy; Polycystic kidney disease, diabetic nephropathy, proteinuric kidney disease and new forms of renal transplantation (non-heart beating donors).
