III Pamplona Nephrology Update 2022

Enrique Morales MD, PhD, is a Nephrologist and works as Staff of Nephrology and member of Renal Transplantation Unit from Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre. Madrid, Spain. He got his PhD degree, Cum Laude, in 2005 of the Complutense University Madrid. He is an associate Professor of Medicine, at the Complutense University. He is the fellowship responsible at the Hospital 12 de octubre from 2005 until 2013. He has been the main investigator or co-investigator in more than 30 clinical trials. A number of presentations at national and international meetings. Author of numerous national and international publications (International Journals >50 and National Journal >40). He is an active Member of different scientific societies (Spanish Society of Nephrology, European Society of Nephrology, American Society of Nephrology) and Board Member of Diabesity Working Group  of the ERA-EDTA. His areas of interest are Different areas of research: 1) Nehrology Clinic: Obesity and renal diseases, glomerular pathology, effects of diuretics in proteinuric nephropathies, malignant hypertension and thrombotic microangiopathy acute. 2) Hemodialysis: Nutritional intervention in chronic renal failure, central venous catheters, management phospho-calcium metabolism. 3) Renal Transplantation: renal transplantation in elderly patients, non heart-beating donors, immunosuppressive treatment.
