Francesc Moreso, MD, PhD. Medical doctor degree in 1987 and PhD degree in 2000 at University of Barcelona. His doctoral thesis relied on transplant pathology. He conducted his training period as resident at Hospital Universitari Bellvitge between 1989-1992. Consultant nephrologist at Hospital Bellvitge between 1994-2009. In 2009 he moved to Hospital Vall d’Hebron as the head of the renal transplant Unit . He his professor of Medicine at Autonomous University of Barcelona since 2016. His research has been mainly focused on transplant pathology and its relationship with immunosupression. He is co-author of more than 200 papers in peer-review journals.
